Terms of Service

Last updated: February 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DeltaLearn platform, operated by DeltaLearn ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using DeltaLearn on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

1. Service Description

DeltaLearn is a platform that transforms internal documentation into versioned microcourses (video, checklist, and quiz) with change control and adoption tracking. The service includes:

  • Document ingestion (upload and Notion integration)
  • AI-powered course generation (chapters, checklists, quizzes, narrated video)
  • Version control with diff and changelog
  • Publishing workflow (Draft → Review → Published)
  • Completion tracking and adoption dashboards

2. Accounts & Workspaces

2.1 Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and accurate information to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately at security@deltalearn.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

2.2 Workspaces

Each account belongs to one or more workspaces. Workspace administrators are responsible for managing members, roles, and content within their workspace. Administrators may invite members and assign roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer). The workspace administrator is responsible for ensuring all members comply with these Terms.

2.3 Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to use DeltaLearn. The service is designed for business use and is not directed at consumers or children.

3. Your Content

3.1 Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you upload to DeltaLearn, including documents, text, and any data within connected sources (e.g., Notion pages). We do not claim ownership of your content.

3.2 License to Us

By uploading content, you grant DeltaLearn a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process, store, and transform your content solely for the purpose of providing the service — specifically, to parse documents, generate course content, create videos, and deliver adoption tracking. This license terminates when you delete the associated content or close your account.

3.3 Generated Content

3.4 Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have the right to upload and process the content you provide
  • Your content does not violate third-party intellectual property rights
  • Your content does not contain illegal, harmful, or abusive material
  • If connecting Notion, you have authorization to access and process the connected pages

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other workspaces or user accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without written consent
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.

5. Pricing & Payment

5.1 Early Access

During the early access period, DeltaLearn is provided free of charge with full feature access. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before introducing paid plans. Early access users will receive preferential pricing.

5.2 Future Paid Plans

When paid plans are introduced, pricing will be published on our website. Subscriptions will be billed monthly or annually. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be issued for partial billing periods, unless required by applicable law.

5.3 Changes to Pricing

We may change our pricing at any time. Price increases for existing customers will be communicated at least 30 days in advance and will take effect at the next renewal.

6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

DeltaLearn uses artificial intelligence to generate course content from your source documents. While we design our AI pipeline to be grounded in your source material and minimize inaccuracies:

7. Intellectual Property

The DeltaLearn platform — including its design, code, brand, documentation, and all associated intellectual property — is owned by DeltaLearn and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets. You may not use "DeltaLearn" or our logo in any way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without written permission.

8. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
  • Modify, update, or discontinue features at any time
  • Experience unplanned outages due to circumstances beyond our control

If we discontinue a material feature, we will provide at least 30 days' notice and offer data export options.

9. Termination

9.1 By You

You may close your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Upon closure, we will delete your data within 30 days, subject to any legal retention requirements.

9.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees (once paid plans are active), or if we are required to do so by law. For non-urgent violations, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure before termination.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow for data export. After this period, all data will be permanently deleted.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 15 days before they take effect. Your continued use of DeltaLearn after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
